FW body essentials

Hey missy,

No outfitpost today but instead I'd like to talk to you about my body essentials especially for fall & winter.

To me, it's so important to keep my body hydrated. And I love to smell good too so I like to combine those aspects while choosing my products carefully!

This one here is my absolute favourite perfumed body cream. It's called "Femme Noblesse" by LR. I got this one for my birthday and I am seriously addicted to it, I use it after every shower. The smell is really soft & feminine, it smells like roses, oranges and vanilla. And it gives my body the hydratation it needs. This product costs around 30 euro for 200ml which is not much in my opinion. They also have an eau de parfum with the same smell. Because the one I got for my birthday was empty, I looked it up on the internet and there are multiple websites where you can buy this body cream and also as a set, including the perfume.

These soaps from "Vents d'Anges Créations" are so great! The thing that makes them special is that they smell like certain winegrapes: viognier (a white grape) and syrah (a blue grape). The viognier is my favorite because it's sweeter. You can also buy these online on several websites. The price per piece is 2.5 euro but they also have bigger ones which cost around 12 euro per piece.

I have a lot of problems with my hands especially during winter. They can feel so sore! Like when I have to do the dishes in hot water and then I go outside when it's freezing, my knuckels will feel sore and my hands will feel wrinkly like an old woman. So therefor I use Rituals' hand lotion. It's a bit greasy at the beginning but when it's dry, your hands will feel so soft! I do need to use it several times a day but it's worth it because this product works! They have different scents but I prefer this one because it smells quite fruity. It costs like 10 euro I guess and there are so many Rituals stores so don't worry, you'll find yours.

& then there are my wet wipes. These are from Primark and they only cost 1 euro. You can use these for your face and for your hands. These wipes will keep your skin very soft. I also use them when I spill something and it's all over my hands, you'll never notice because of their fruity smell.

Last but not least: the trick for kissable lips. We have to be honest here, wintertime is all about kisses: misletoes, New Years kisses, Christmas kisses, reading your Christmas letter kisses,... You know what I'm talking about!

So we need to get our lips kissproof! I do this by using 2 products. First of all the Bubbelgum Lip Scrub by Lush. If you tast it, you just want to put the whole thing in your mouth but that's not really what you got to do with this. Although it's a scrub, it's really soft for your lips. Just apply it, move your lips and done. Your lips will feel so soft, you have no idea! And it really has the bubblegum taste! This product costs 9.95 and you can find it in any Lush store & in other flavours as well.

And to conclude my body essentials, this is one thing I can't live without. The Oilily Lip Balm. I don't really know if they are still selling this one because I went to Ici Paris a couple of months ago and they only had them in a small can, not in this lipstick form. But then I went to another Ici Paris and they did sell them so I bought 10, just to be sure I won't run out of them. They only cost 1 euro per piece, which is a superbuy!! They don't really taste like anything but what's more important? Good taste or good protection? It's quite greasy which I need in a lip balm. I use this every day when it's cold!

Kissable lips season? I'm ready!

Beanie fever

Hey sweeties! What's up?

I'm sorry for my post yesterday but I was so extremely tired but I am going to try to make it up to you guys today! So, here's another outfitpost!

There are things which I'm addicted to during summer: sunglasses & flip flops.
And there are things which I'm addicted to during winter: beanies & scarves.

I think it's already cold enough to wear both of them!

Beanie: Pieces
Poncho: Primark
Sweater: Vero Moda
Pants: Zara
Shoes: 5th Avenue
Bag: Julie et Moi

There's just one thing I hate about beanies, the way your hair looks when you take them off. I bought this beanie at pieces and I have it in a dark pink too. I love that it's a bit baggy on top.

I had my pictures taken in our garden today and as you can see, the leafs are falling off and changing colour. I just love these little things about fall.

I am so happy with my 5th Avenue shoes! I already have them for a while now. I bought them when I was in Rotterdam, which is definitely one of my favourite places! They are just so comfy, I could walk a marathon with them! Like literally, someone dare me... #BringItOn

The poncho, well, it is the first one I ever bought. I hate to be cold and I wasn't sure if I was gonna wear it. But hey, got to take a risk sometimes, right? And to be honest, I love it! This one is just plain and simple and with a thick colar it has everything I need. I combined it with a sweater that is almost the same colour just to avoid heavy colour contrasts.

I also want to talk to you about the lipstick I'm wearing. Sometimes I get these ideas like: I want to buy a headband now but I only have 2 euros. I had a moment like this when I bought this lipstick. I wanted a new colour but I didn't want to spend much on it. This lipstick is called "06 Barely There" from Essence. And as you can see, it really is barely there. It makes your lips look slightly darker but not much, which I like about it! And, it's not expensive, at all! I didn't put a filter or anything on the picture below so this is how the colour really looks like.

Talk to you later, enjoy your evening

Woman in Black

Hi there,

How have you guys been doing? I am so tired tonight! I got up really early for no reason, worked for school, went to practice, and went painballing to end the day. I'm exhausted to say the least so this post is gonna be really short!

 Jacket: Forever 21
Blouse: Zara
Sweater: Esprit
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Adidas
Bag: Louis Vuitton

I've been looking for a pants like this, which is right above my ancles. I found this one at Zara and I love to wear it! I don't really have the model sizes so I have quite short legs and most of the pants I buy nowadays, are way too long, so I just cut them off! You can't even imagine how happy I was when I found this one!

I also hung out with some friends today. We went to Gin & More, a ginbar in my hometown Herentals. They have so many types of gin, it's unreal! Aaaannnddd they have the Sharish gin!! Obviously it's named after me... And they had a huge banner of my famous gin so I had to pose next to it ;)

I am sorry for my small post but I promise to make it up!  Gonna get some sleep now, believe me, I'm in desperate need of it!

Goodnight

Can I hat it like that

Ola chicas! Como estas?

Nevermind the Spanish, I followed like 3 lessons and then I changed to German haha.

Sooo, I was talking to my colleague at work the other day and she told me she wanted to buy a hat. But she wasn't sure because she thought she wasn't gonna wear it that often. Here's my advice: if it looks good, wear it! I'm not saying if it feels good, wear it. Because heels don't usually feel good, but you have to wear them too!

Hat: Boohoo
Sweater: H&M
White top: Forever21
Coat: Katia G
Jeans: Polo Jeans Ralph Lauren
Shoes: New Balance
Bag: Louis Vuitton

So I recently bought this hat at Boohoo.com. You always see their commercials on tv and I thought I'd take a look at their webshop. I bought some dresses too and I'm very happy with them! But back to the hat, I was looking for a grey one for quite a while now but never found the right size. I bought this online so I didn't know if it was right for me or not, but I think it's okay. Except for the colour, I thought it was a bit lighter but hey, it's grey.

I bought the H&M sweater to patch it up actually. But when I see it on me like this, just plain basic, I think I might leave it like this because it doesn't look wrong at all.

& then there's the coat! I bought it at the last day of sale at Bobo Tremelo. It was a real bargain, to say the least! Katia G is an Italian brand and the coat might not seem that warm but believe me, it is! The only thing I dislike about Italian brands are their sizes, it says size 42 which means it's a size 38. I'm definitely not wearing this one on a date!

And look at the fashionable lady walking right next to me. My schoolgirl Lisa has the most awesome style ever. To be honest, she looks good in everything! She has this yellow fur which I'm soooo jealous about, and she just owns every outfit! A pink Zara coat and Nike's who would be able to pull this outfit off?

Talk to you later sweeties, thanks for reading!

Upper what?

Upper deck? Upper playground? Uppercut? Uppercase? Upper east side? Upper body workout????

UPPERDARE!!!

Okay so I laughed my ass off yesterday. One of my friends decided to organize an upperdare party at her place.

I noticed that guys are reading my blog too so this one is for them, to give them a look behind the scenes of a girlsnight ;).

So guys, what happens at an upperdare party? First of all you get this list, all the products that are shown (& tested) that night are shown on this list. Yes, the list is quite long! But we had enough bottles of wine to keep us all satisfied.

Okay I know what you guys think, it's all love toys and stuff. Well, that's actually false. We always start off quite innocent. You know how girls are, we never show everything we've got at the beginning ;).

So this was a perfume to use in a room in the house. I really liked the look of the perfume and the smell wasn't that bad either.

And what do you think of these handcuffs? All fluffy, and you don't need a key to open them so no accidents there haha! Buttt, you can only use them on the girl because they are for quite small wrists, too bad guys!

I really liked this mask but what do you use it for? To play dressup with your hubby? Kinkyyyy... or not.

This was my favorite product of the evening! Body paint which you can eat! You have 2 types: the one that tastes like dark chocolate and the one that tastes like cuberdons. I prefered the chocolate. You can write everything you want and just lick it off right after. If I would have had a boyfriend, he would probably be covered in dark chocolate saying "I love Charis" right now, I'm such a child haha.

Okay, now we're getting to the toys part...

These little rabbits were to stimulate you down under, I don't really get why their ears are so big though, but hey, who am I to complain about things that can give me pleasure...

So this was one of the vibrators. I wonder, why do they always make them in pink?

These were the Chinese balls, to train you down under. They even have them from 45g. I was just sitting there like whaaattt?

I really did have a good time last night. Another thank you for our host of the evening!!

Patch perfect

Hey lovely readers,

I told you that I would blog about my DIY-parka, so here it is!

Sweater: H&M
Blouse: Donaldson
Coat: Zara
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Nike
In one of my previous posts I mentioned that I was experimenting with iron-on patches. I got inspired by the wonderful +Celinescloset. She pimped up her parka by ironing stars on the back so I started to look for cool patches to iron on my very own parka.

I looked on websites like Aliexpress, Etsy & then I found these wings on Ebay. I ordered them immediately! They are also available in gold but I prefer my silver ones.

They are sold per 2, this means that you have them on seperately. I just looked at my coat to see if it was symmetrical and I don't know if it is, but I don't care, I like it!

You can do it on any kind of parka, I bought this one at Zara, it was on sale for 30 euro. The wings were 17 and I had them stitched on to be sure they don't get off for 4 euro so I have an awesome (and unique) coat for 51 euro.

Weather forecast: possibility of snow tomorrow

I don't mind, I have the perfect coat to keep me warm!

PS: if you're wondering which lipstick I'm wearing on my first pictures, I bought these just today and I'm really in love with both colours!

All black thursdays

Hey Guys,

I've been soooo busy with school lately, and it's only October... And I should be putting my hockey gear on right now but I just can't since I haven't finished my French tasks for tomorrow.

Some people have asked me where I get my inspiration for my blogposts and that's quite simple to answer. I write about everything, this blog is like my diary.

For today I have an outfitpost. I got inspired by one of my friends. I was scrolling trough her pictures on facebook and I really liked her outfit so I got into my closet and found this:

Shirt: Light in the box
Leather look legging: New Look
Shoes: Invito

Look, I don't really support wearing a legging as pants but hey, it looked okay so I didn't care. The long shirt covered everything up so no worries ;)

I did have some cosy time today. I had lunch at Lucy Chang with one of my friends and got ice cream after. Summer, fall, winter or spring, having an ice cream is always a good idea!

Summertime sadness

Summer is officially over and that makes me sad. That's why I want to look back on my favorite season and the reasons why the summer of 2015 made me so happy. Just to warn you in advance, this is gonna be a long one:

Travelling

I absolutely love to travel! I don't care where I'm going but I love to explore new places, get to know new people and just be away from home for a while.

These pictures were taken in Belek, Turkey. We went to the Voyage Hotel and it was really one of the best vacations I ever had! Although the sun wasn't always shining, I had the time of my life! I loved the beach, the food, the company, everything about this vacation was just what I needed at that time.

I also went to Bordeaux 2 times to visit my lovely friend Yelena, or Frankie as I like to call her. I met some great people there who I hope to see again very soon! I remember sitting on the bus to the airport the second time I left, crying my eyes out. The guy behind me asked me what was wrong and I told him that it would probably be the last time I was in Bordeaux. I'll never forget what he answered "You don't have to cry for that, you do know that anything is possible right? No one will stop you to come back, you'll see these people again one day if you really want it" and he was right, they are only a plane ride away.

Aaaand I went to Knokke for a week. My sister-in-law has an appartment there and she owns a store named "Julie et moi". I had to work there for a week (I'll blog about it later). I was having some guy problems back then (I could even start a blog about that with all the frustrations I get from them haha) and it felt so good to be in such a pieceful place. Taking a walk on the beach every morning, having a glass of wine after my shift and working on my tan, DREAMJOB!

Parties

I rarely go to parties but during summer it's different. There are so many festivals and parties which I like to attend. I can't use my excuses like "it's too cold to go out" or "I'm so tired" because you won't be able to sleep because of the heat anyway... So my friends just drag me there and I seem to enjoy myself every time!

Replay festival, Sunset festival, Sunrise festival, I did them all!

Cosy nights

There's nothing better than spending time with your friends... Especially during summer! Grabbing dinner really late, it just doesn't matter because you can still sit outside, getting together for drinks, going to amusement parks, going for a walk with the most beautiful baby ever,...

Chillaxin'

But most of all, summer is to relax! I love spending time in bed, but during summer, I only stay in bed if I'm hungover. Most of all, I'd like to get out of bed, get my bikini on and hangout at the pool, so that's what I did!

Summer 2015, I had a blast! Thank you to all the people who have been a part of it!

Charis x

PS: this picture was taken at the end of summer, when we had to go back to school to retake our exams, look at how happy we were!
