Winter whites

Hey babes,

I must admit I haven't been blogging on a regular basis lately. Maybe that's because I had to study for my exams. Luckily, I had my last one today and I think it went quite okay.

I told you before I have really bad allergies and I had to wear my Sunglass Spot sunnies to cover my eyes because they looked so bad! They look a bit like Dior's sunglasses but these are a lot cheaper! If you buy something from their website, I recommend you order more than one piece. I ordered 4 and shipping costs were the same as the total cost of the 4 sunglasses. They have so many styles and colours, it's unreal! But ofcourse, these sunnies are more of an accessory, not really to protect your eyes for the sun.

I always laugh when I see these fashionblogs. These people have such clear pictures and there's so many variety in them and their poses. With mine, it's always fun! When my friends take my pictures I really make the most stupid poses ever. And today wasn't any different.

Sunglasses: Sunglassspot.com
Top: Mango
Bernadette: got it at the local market
Jeans: Zara
Scarf: Zara
Shoes: Serafini

Every Friday there's a local market here in Herentals. They sell fruit, bread, candy but also clothes! I saw this bernadette there and it wasn't as expensive as my other bernadettes. I have like 6 bernadettes in different colours. I just love to wear them because they are so comfy! I didn't know if I should buy the one at the market but then again, it wasn't expensive and what did I have to lose? Exactly, nothing! So I just went with it and bought it. It's also a bit longer on the back which I actually like about it. The thing I dislike are the sleeves. They come a bit shorter. You can tell the quality is far from the same but who cares, it looks good on picture, right?

And what do you think about my Serafini wedges? I never thought I would buy them because I didn't like wedges in general at first. But when I saw these I knew I had to buy them. I also bought another pair of Serafini wedges at the same time. They both are 2 sizes too big to be honest but I really needed these babies.

I also feel a bit sad when I look at these pictures. Especially when I look at the one beneath where I look like a boy with Dumbo-ears. I have had extensions for a while now and last week, I had to take them out. I had them for 4 months and I've gotten so used to them. It's weird to see myself as a short haired blondie again. Everyone is telling me this looks more natural and it looks so much better, but I already ordered my new hair! Hey, the holidays are comming up, don't blame me for wanting pretty Christmas pictures!

Thanks to my beautiful colleague Bieke for taking my pictures today!

Lots of love

Fur for fall

Are you ready for those cold winterdays? Because I definitely am!

I must admit that I crave to wear my bikini again but how do you not want it to be very cold if you have a fur coat like this hangin' in your closet?

Lipstick: Long lasting Wineberry soft shine from Clinique
Hat: got it at a local market here in Herentals
Fox fur: vintage

I bought this fox fur last year. I was looking for thé perfect fur but either it wasn't pretty enough or it was too expensive. So I started to look on secondhand websites as well. I found this awesome coat there, it was really perfect for me! It was from a family who was moving to Spain and obviously they couldn't take this coat because when would they ever be able to wear it there?

I don't usually buy things secondhand but I went to these people's home to buy the coat and you immediately know if you can trust them by their first impression. They still had several furs for sale which they also showed me but I really loved this one. It will make you look so much bigger though and the coat itself weighs so much. But then again, it looks really good on me, doesn't it? ;)

Everyone who knows me will confirm that I have my own style. I can wear a 200 euro top with a 5 euro skirt, I really don't care. I did the same with my fur coat. I'm wearing my new blue and pink Nikes with it. I really love the colour although they would fit better in my summer wardrobe.

The thing is, I like to "shock" people with the way I wear my outfit. I've seen people turn their heads when I was wearing this fur coat & especially if you wear sneakers under it. Let me tell you this, who are you to judge?

While visiting Munich...

Hallo schöne Jüngen und Mädchen! Wie geht's?

Although we were late for the Oktoberfest, we did have an awesome time in Germany! I'll take you through our citytrip day by day, ready??!

Day 1
So we flew to Germany leaving from Amsterdam. It's like a 1.25h flight and we got some yoghurt and drinks so you won't hear me complaining cause remember, food is always good.

So we arrived in Munich around 10 and we went to our friend's house and had some late breakfast/early lunch whatever you like to call it. I took this picture of their staircase, guess this is what they call love at first sight.

& Ofcourse what do you do on your first day? Explore the city!! We really wanted to see some Sehenswürdigkeiten (tourist attractions). So we got on a sightseeing bus, yes, we really did! And we actually got to see some amazing places! And I am seriously in love with the houses over there, all in these bright and joyful colours. Honestly, I could live there!

The weather was by far much better than we expected it to be!

Before our trip, I pre-ordered this O'rèn Official bag which said "Belgique. Belchique." It actually wasn't supposed to be delivered by the time I left for Munich but a couple of days before I left, there was this big package in my mail, didn't have to think long about which bag to take on my trip!

Jeans blouse: Primark (patched it up on my elbows, I'll show you later)
Vest: Stefano Tremelo
Pants: Bershka
Shoes: Nike
Bag: O'Rèn
Sunglasses: Rayban
Shameless group pictures were also a part of our trip, obviously...

Day 2
Our second day in Munich was dedicated to what girls love most of all: that's right, SHOPPING!! The shopping street is so long and we only did half of it in 5 hours, it was unreal! Bought a couple of nice things including a new coat, a scarf, Eos lipbalm and leather shorts. I think you can say that I was a very happy girl!

 Sunglasses: Rayban
Dress: got it at a local market in Antwerp
Tights: Hema
Boots: Si
My new scarf: Zara
Bag: O'Rèn

After our little shopping spree we had dinner in this awesome Italian restaurant. I did forget the name though but it was really crowded, very hard to get in since we were there with 5 people. But in the end we managed to get a table and the food was delicious!

Day 3
So day 3 was actually my favorite day in the beautiful city. It was our last full day so that was a bit sad but we got to visit a very cool place. I don't really think I can use this term for a concentration camp but I really liked our visit there. It was the concentration camp of Dachau. We got an English guide who was very friendly and knew a lot about the camp. There was a thing which I didn't understand though... I went to a concentration camp in Belgium as well, in Breendonk. And the first thing you saw when you entered the first room was the big eagle from the time of Hitler. And everywhere you saw was the SS-logo and the nazis' logo but here in Dachau, we didn't see any of those. I thought that was quite weird but hey, who am I to judge.

We also saw the gas chambres which was very confronting. But then again, our guide told us that most of the people in the camp died of the poor conditions they had to live in. Which to me is just cruel!

Sunglasses: Rayban
New coat: Pimkie
Bag: O'Rèn
Blouse: H&M
Tights: Hema
Boots: Si

We still had some time left after our visit to the concentration camp so we visited a place called the Surfers Wave. It's actually quite weird because it's just a bit like a small pond and there's a heavy flood which gives sufers some awesome waves! Apparently they are practicing winter and summer in their little wetsuits. It was really awesome to see something like that just happening in the middle of the city.

And to end the day, we went to visit the Chinese Tower in the English Garden. Confusing right?

After preparing a typical Belgian dinner for our German friend, we went to a bar which we also visited the night before. It was called Martini Club. They had sooooo many cocktails! I really didn't want to drink that much but we all know I like my gin & tonic. So the first night I got myself a Botanist and a Blue gin. Apparently the guy behind the bar was impressed that a Botanist gin was my first choice so he offered us some shots to try. Second night I wasn't really in the mood to drink until the music started playing so again, some gin & tonics were on the menu for me.
 Blouse: H&M
New shorts: Pimkie
Tights: Hema
Boots: Si

Day 4
To all good stories comes an end and this citytrip was no exception. We had to catch our plane and so we did.

This was definitely a trip to remember, I had so much fun! And I know I made an impression with my German language skills, obviously!

Bootie Shake

I didn't make a spelling mistake in my subject, I do mean bootie shake and not booty shake. Because I'm talking about my new fall proof booties.

So what do you think of my fall proof short boots from Shoe Discount? I also bought them in black because they are so comfortable to wear, and they were really cheap too. I had my doubts about the colour because they look like they are black when I'm in a different light. But I'm so satisfied with them! A light jeans brings out their blue colour, a darker jeans will make them look a bit darker.

Another thing which I'm very satisfied with is my pink Essentiel scarf. I bought them last winter but normally they sell them every winter, or at least a look-a-like because they know how everyone loves them! I have this one in a camel colour too. It's a really long and fluffy one which I adore about it! You can flop it around like 3 times if you want! The scarf is made of 70% angora and 30% nylon. Essentiel had this scarf in several colours. Which colour are you buying for FW 2016?

Blouse: Zara
Jeans: Zara
Vest: Coccas Noorderwijk
Sunglasses: Boohoo
Scarf: Essentiel
Boots: Shoe Discount

I had my pictures taken by my nephew today, I can tell you right now he will never do this again. Deep down I know he liked to help me, obviously! These were taken right in front of his house in Lichtaart. You have to admit, how calm and peaceful does this look!

Talk to you later!
