First trip of the year

Hiii..!

So as you guys all know, I love to travel (waaaayyy too much)!! And I want to be in a different country every month. There are so many cheap deals if you are flexible in your travelling agenda! 

I wanted to start the year with love. And to be honest, there's only one place that holds my heart: Prague! So I booked a trip from 5-7 January with my friend Yasmine. 

The trip didn't start as planned though, our flight was delayed for 2 hours :(

But eventually, we got there around 11pm I guess. We got to our apartment, installed ourselves and went out. 

There's a lot to do in Prague and there's one street with a lot of bars and clubs but nothing drew our attention so after walking around town, we went back to the apartment for a long night sleep. 

Early Fridays ask for long and cold walks? I don't know those 2 go together but I do know we experienced both. 

We went to the old town for our second day and God knows how much I love it there!

My favorite lunchplace is located in the Old Town as well. I can't write down the name, so I took a picture (yes, I think of you guys when I'm on holiday) 

The food is so tasty and the smoothies are delicious!! Although it's really cosy and small, a lot of tourists seem to know the place, don't know if I should call it an advantage or a disadvantage though..

My favorite place to have a late night dinner is at the James Dean Café! 

Best burgers in town! And also the American breakfast is a winner! I suggest you go there when it's a bit later, like 9pm. The American oldies look and music will get you in the mood for a party. And when you're done eating, just continue the party in the basement.

And last but not least one of the biggest reasons why I like Prague so much: ice hockey, obviously! Sparta is a really good team and the ice rink is just massive in comparisson to skating rinks in Belgium. This time we saw Sparta - Mlada Boleslav and I think you can guess who won the game...

I would hate it though if I have a white blocker and glove, that those idiots turn them into black ones!

I had an amazing time in this city! And I don't know what it is but there's just something that keeps me drawing back there. 

Next stop: Stockholm in February

Flairy dresses

Hey everyone, 

I'm actually at the airport right now because I'm going to Prague so I'm gonna keep this post short. 

You see, I still haven't blogged about my newest catch! I bought a new flairy dress from Forever 21. 

I really hate that the shop is gone in Antwerp! I always went there when I had a lunch break when I was still in school, sometimes my lunch break lasted a bit longer and I never made it back to class but oh well... Now I can shop online when I have my lunch break.

I don't think I have anything brown hangin' in my closet so I didn't know if it would suit me or not. But I'm actually quite pleased with the color and the shape from this dress. I also like that the colar is a bit higher so I don't really need to wear a necklace or something to top it. 

I'm wearing my black knee-high boots from H&M. I bought them last winter and I'm still loving them! I'm not wearing any stockings because I didn't think it was necessary and hey, take a risk every onve in a while, right...??

Happy 2017

Hey everyone, 

First of all, HAPPY NEWYEAR!!!!

I hope you all had a good start of 2017. May this be your year! I wish you all good luck for whatever you want to do and a lot of joy for every bit of happiness that you will find! I want to wish you a lot of strength and courage for any challenges and battles you might be facing. And I hope you will be surrounded by all the people you love, and maybe find love, who knows... But most of all, I hope you will achieve your dreams, the goals that you have set for yourself and that you will find satisfaction when you reach them! 

Some of you will know this, others won't. But I turned 25 on 31st December. I'm not really happy with it, but it is what it is right? 

I went down for drinks in Antwerp the night before. We had a small reunion with the classmates so it was really fun. And at 12 o'clock (when I was on the train, ugh!) I turned 25. It's a habit to go to the seaside that night but due to circumstances I couldn't go. So the next morning, I woke up in my own bed, to this...

I really didn't do much on my birthday, apart from replying to aaaallll the messages I got which I would like to thank you for!! 

Aaaannnddd then the partyyyy... I actually don't have a lot of pictures of the evening but I can assure you that I was wearing an awesome dress (which I will probably wear again on my birthdayparty on 27 January). Buttt I did have a blast with the best people! 

I got home quite early because the music at the party wasn't really my thing.. And when I woke up this moing, I also realized that the cava which they served, got me a head ache...

January 1 is always the time for family so I had dinner at my aunties place. 

You can't see it really clear because my granny took the picture... But I'm wearinf a new bodysuit from Boohoo. Make sure to check their website in the next couple of days because you know it's the most wonderful time of the year: SAAALLLEEESSSS!!!
