Turkey day 9

Hello my loved ones, 

I still have 2 days left to talk to you about from the Turkey vacay. We're at day 9 already! To be honest, I don't have a lot to talk about from this day, regular chillings you know... 

It's the days at the beach that I miss the most! It doesn't matter for me if I'm in Turkey or if I would be somewhere else, as long as there's a beach, I don't want to go home! 

And again, the group was getting smaller that night. One of the most awesome people I've met was leaving that night :(

After saying goodbye, we decided to do something active for one of our last nights. There was a bowling alley in our hotel and we were up for it! 

Unfortunately, my bowling skills aren't that good. Better luck next time?

Turkey day 8

Hello beauties, 

Okay so I just want to mention that this is my 50th blogpost since I started my blog wuuuhuuuuww!

I'll be serious now. So day 8 in Turkey. The group was getting smaller and smaller since a couple of people left the night before. But that doesn't mean that it was less fun! It was still blondies united!

 

 

And again, it was "just hangin' at the pool"-day. I can't stand to be in the sun all day, I need to walk around every once in a while so I tried to go in the pool, to be honest I wasn't going to try that a second time! 

 

Okay so that night we decided to go back to the steak restaurant. God, I was so hungry! We also went to that restaurant a couple days before and then I took the rib eye. It tasted so good but I wanted to try something different now.  I was up for a burger but I never expected to get a giant like this: 

  

 It tasted soooooo good! And if you're there with the right company, that makes it a perfect evening!

After the restaurant we went to the disco. Me and my nephew always make this picture while we're in Turkey for my brother. We always make this silly face and show it to my brother when we get home. He always cracks up when he sees it. But we make normal pictures as well though. 

I still have a quite funny story to tell you. Me and my nephew went to our room quite early since there weren't a lot of people at the disco. So when we were walking to our room we saw this little cat on our route. I started to pet her and immediately 2 other cats came as well. We tried to get the little one in our room but the 2 other ones wouldn't leave. So we just gave them some water. 20 minutes later the cats were still outside our door and wanted to sneak in everytime we opened the door. So we just went to bed and hoped that they wouldn't find a way to get in.

Turkey day 7

Hello my little munchkins, 

I can't describe how much I want to be at Coachella festival right now! Wearing a long skirt and a crop top... And looking at these pictures from my holiday isn't really helping. 

So we're at day 7 from my holiday. Me and my nephew were walking around the hotel this day and we noticed a lot of thing we didn't notice before. Like a Greek restaurant we didn't know of. 

 I was all dressed in Primark that day. That colourful thing that I'm wearing might look like a skirt but they are shorts. And the top, I bought them 2 sizes too big just because I like to wear it like that. I have 3 of those and also in black because I almost wear them every day during summer!

I have this thing with palmtrees, don't ask me why. But I get really happy when I see them and I always want to go on pictures with them (I guess that's one of my little secrets). 

I remember it being a bit colder that day. Again I was tanning at the beach and my nephew went to play a game with the amusement team. And I was just sitting there and all of a sudden there was a lot of wind. But I kept waiting on my nephew to come back. After a while I couldn't handle the cold anymore so I took everything with me and went to the pool where the rest of my family and friends were. Apparently, my nephew had been there for more than an hour, thanks a lot! My fingers were turning blue, not a joke! 

The evening was coming to an end and we made plans to go to the Italian restaurant because it was the last evening for 6 of our travel companions. I didn't really know what to wear but I brought my O'ren sweater which I'm absolutely in love with! I combined it with some shorts, my hat and my white sneakers which made it look more like summer instead of a winter-look with that cosy sweater.

 

Just as the sweater says, I'll always be a petit Belge. But I'm always so happy  when I can leave this country, it has nothing to do with the country itself but being away from reality, the daily things, the drama, I mean maybe I should keep that in mind when I'm going to be looking for a job in a couple of months.

Turkey day 6

Hello chica's

I can't believe it's Thursday already! Time is going by so fast these days. It's been almost 2 weeks since I was in Turkey but it feels like I was there yesterday (I wish I was there yesterday as well...)

So how did I spend day 6 there, I'll show you (yes this is a Justin Bieber song).

Again we were late for our breakfast so we got up at 10 because at 12.30 lunch is served. We left our room at 12 so we had some time left. When you go through the hotel lobby, there's a terrace with cosy seats and where you have a view on the pools and the beach, it's wonderful. So we decided to have a drink already ... again, alcohol for breakfast.

I am so in love with these pants! I got them from Minimum, the Danish brand. I ordered them online a couple of months ago and I haven't worn them since I got them so I was really excited.

We always went back to our room after we had breakfast/lunch, I had to change clothes since I had packed a breakfast-outfit, a beach-outfit and an evening-outfit for each day.

As you can see, I don't wear a lot when I'm at the beach other than a bikini, a shirt and sometimes shorts. You know, it comes in handy when you want to get an ice cream ;). The shorts are from Gilly Hicks, I have them in all colours! And the shirt is from Wildfox. It says "Don't wake me I'm tanning". Perfect for the beach!

It's really one of my favorite places to be. Just doing nothing, watching the waves, and taking selfies (I would like to say it's a joke but it's not actually).

Turkey day 5

Hey Guys, 

I hope your day has been good so far. I'm already in bed so I'm gonna keep this post quite short. 

We're half in my 10 day summary of my holiday so here it goes for day 5: 

I told you before my nephew likes to stay in bed late and day 5 was no exception. It litteraly gets on my nerves when he's still in bed and I'm just sitting there. So I just sat down on our porch and made some selfies, you know how it goes. 

Don't ask me why but I always think I look better in a foreign country? Just because my skin looks so much better when the sun is shining. It might just be something in my head but anyway... Maybe it's because of the freckles. 

So when my nephew finally decided to get out of bed, we were already late for breakfast. Spaghetti bolognaise for breakfast it was... There are worse things in life you know. 

I spent the rest of the day on the beach. There was no wind so it wasn't cold at all. Got my music on, sunglasses on and thoughts were off. 

I don't know what it is with this place but the combination of palmtrees, the beach and the sea makes it a happy place for me. It's like I forgot what was happening in Belgium, I just focused on what was happening at that moment and enjoyed it all. How can you not with a view like this? 

We went to the steak restaurant to end our day. It was funny because I was wearing all white. Since I always spill something, either it's my drink or I drop a piece of food, I can't keep my clothes white. But I managed quite well! Everyone was going for a drink in the lobby afterwards but that's not my place to be so I went to bed, watched some tv and got some sleep. Ready for day 6...

Turkey day 4

Hello babes! 

I wish I could travel back in time and go back to last week! Seriously, all these pictures make me wander back to Turkey. 

So this is an overview of the fourth day that we spent there.

 

As many of you will know, I'm addicted to Calzedonia bikini's. I love them to death! The way they fit me is awesome! And I'm not even mentioning their support because I would give them a 12/10 for that ;). We got up quite late that day, didn't even take the time to have breakfast. 

 

I am absolutely, utterly in love with this Pouppée de Soie shirt! It's a bit longer on the back so it covers my big bum ;). And the wings, they take away the attention of everything! Also, it's light grey so it fits any of my jeans. Top buy, check! 

When we didn't have breakfast, we just started to drink earlier and it has become one of my bad habbits I guess. I got this new addiction for green apple martini's (for breakfast)... wuppppsss

I spent the rest of the day hangin' by the pool and at the beach, doing nothing, you know how it goes on these holidays right? 

 

 

Oh yeah and taking selfies too...

 

 

During the evening we went to the town again because the guys wanted to get their hair cut. We thought we could join them since we never mind to visit some stores near the barber. Let's just say it's a girl thing.

And to end the day, we had a nice dinner and went to the hotel's disco afterwards. Again, this was a good day.

Turkey day 3

Rise and shine my loves, 

It's so hard to post about my holiday in Turkey. When I see all these pictures I just want to drive to the airport and get on a plane. I've said it before and I'll say it again, my holiday was awesome and I'm not even talking about the weather now.

So about day 3, I had an all black kind of day, lovely! 

I had my doubts if I should bring my Isabel Marant's on holiday and to be honest, I'm glad I did because I wear them anytime I'm wearing black. They fit with skinny jeans, a dress, shorts, a skirt,... What I'm wearing here are shorts but they look a bit like a skirt. They are from Bershka, I was looking for a pleaded skirt but I couldn't find it but then I found these shorts and I was so happy. The top, I bought that a couple of years ago in Zara Budapest, it is actually waaayyyy too big but you don't really notice it, only if you pay attention. Glasses are from Sunglassspot, obviously and the hat is the one I bought at Iam at the airport. 

Okay, I had to take some pictures to make other people jealous right, well here we go: 

Like seriously, who wouldn't want to be in this place. The weather, the water, the food, I have no complaints at all!

 I'll show you my 2 favorite places of the hotel. 

This is the pier. You had 2 different ones, one where everyone could go and one which was +16. We always went to the regular one which was accessible for everyone. There's also a waiter who comes by every once in a while to ask what you want so you don't have to get up from your sunbed ;). When there was no wind, this was the place to be, but in the afternoon it could get a little bit chilly and that's when I found my second spot.

 

Everyone knows how much I love the beach! If you don't know that about me, you don't know me at all! I even have this tradition that no matter what happens, I need to see the beach on my birthday, yes 31 December! Not really a time to go to the beach but I made it a tradition so no way back. I just love to be on the beach because a lot of people were lying at the several pools and when I go on a holiday, I need my rest. It's at places like these where I think about everything that is happening in my life. It's my calm spot.

I'm not really a person that likes to go out a lot so on day 3 I went to bed early again.
