Trench toast

Hello my dear readers, 

Do you know the feeling: you need to leave in an hour but you still have to decide what to wear. Fall: the sun is shining but it's quite cold outside, what do you wear? 

There are certain things I can spend big money on: handbags, shoes, sunglasses and coats. I can go for a month without wearing the same coat twice, I admit, I'm an addict. 

I had to go to school today so I had to wear something comfy. I bought this trenchcoat a couple of months ago and I haven't worn it yet. But today was the day this trench saw the light.

Team 31

Team 31 is in the running again!

I don't know if you guys know this, but I started playing hockey last year. My brother has been a goalie since he was 12 and I wanted to try it too. So I bought all the gear and started playing myself. After the first practice I was hooked! And for everyone who wants to know: no, I don't play on a girls team...

I really look up to my brother, all my friends know this. He's my example, my hero. I even have his name and hockey helmet tattood on my leg. He has been playing with the #32 throughout his carreer. I didn't want to take the same number as him because I know I will never be as good as he was. So I took 31, also because my birthday is on the 31st. 

The number wasn't actually on the sweater. I got inspired by fashionblogger Celine Van Ouytsel. She bought some patches and ironed them on her coat. So, I went to veritas, bought these 2 numbers and had them ironed on my sweater. I think it looks pretty cool! Btw, I also ordered super big sequin wings on ebay to put on my parka, I really hope they arrive next week!

Sun, fun, friends & festivals

Okay so yesterday was Sunset Festival and to be honest, I could have left the "sun" out of my subject. But it didn't rain yesterday so no complaining there. I have this "disease" well, I call it a disease... I always want to wear something new to a party or a festival because I don't want pictures wearing the same clothes every time. I think this is sort of a typical-girl-problem. So I went to Two Store in Geel to see if they got anything in store for me.

As I was walking trough the store, I saw a mannequin doll wearing this shirt. This Catwalk Junkie shirt had my name all over it! It has some glitter on some of the letters and it's a bit longer on the back so it covers my big bum ;). 

I have to tell you something... I think I fell in love at Two Store...

I believe that this Relish faux fur was made for me. I didn't buy it...yet but I can't stop thinking about it, which means I have to go get it! The perfect coat for winter and those colors are just fabulous!!

You know how much I love my festival tattoos and I didn't make an exception yesterday! Hema's festival tattoos are really pretty and I love to have them on my body! 

I danced my socks off yesterday! Sunset festival, you were so much fun! And you make me so happy by having Willy Nacho on your festival. Literally the best nachos I ever had!

Indiana Charis

Hey everyone, 

I really hope you guys enjoyed your weekend although the weather wasn't that good. I promised you a new post tonight so here it is!

 

I really wanted to take a picture with my bunny because this dress makes me feel like Indiana Jones, don't ask me why though... I'm allergic to all animals but I love my pets to death so I just take my medication and hope to get through the day.

 I bought this new dress on Friday and I think it's really cool! The fabric feels like daim and it changes color in certain lights. I chose to combine it with some high heels I bought last summer. But if I want, I can also wear this dress during winter with some boots. The dress is also available in camel but this colour fits me better with my blonde hair and blue eyes.

A tourist in my own town

Black is the new black!

So today I had to pick up this little blondie from school. If there would be a small version of me, it has to be her! She's only 10 years old but this little munchkin talks like a grown up.

 

I had to plan something that could keep her busy after school. It was already 4.30 pm so I had to stay nearby. Hidrodoe was closed, the ice rink isn't open until the 18th and minigolf was not an option either. But we do have something that is called "De toeristentoren". You have to climb a couple of stairs and you get a view over my hometown Herentals and the neighbour cities.

Bikerchic(k)

Mondays, gotta love 'em right? 

The second week of school has started and I am so busy with everything! Again, I had to study yesterday and I had to go to a birthdayparty in the evening. I'm always so nervous when I know I have to go somewhere. This is why: I think we all know the problem "I haven't got anything to wear" while your closet is full of clothes... So I was cleaning out my closet and I found this awesome tshirt back. I have had it for almost 3 years I guess but I really love it!

I actually bought this shirt for a purpose. See, my mom and her boyfriend both have a Harley Davidson. My mom sold hers like 2 years ago, it was the coolest motorcycle I have ever seen, a Harley Davidson street bob mat black. But when she had the bike, her style started to change and I was like "midlife crisis alert". So the real reason why I bought the shirt was to show my mom that you can wear those shirts but you have to own it while she was just a follower of her boyfriend.

 

I really like this bikergirl attitude! When I was 14 years old I had my "punk-fase". I'm still into the music and stuff but the clothes I wore were just a bit too much to say the least. These pictures and especially the outfit reminds me of those days. Those were definitely the good days and I hope those memories will never fade!

Wine & dine

Hello my dear weekend lovers, 

The studying is going ok so I took a break to take some pictures of today's outfit. I have to go to a family barbecue later tonight, yes in this weather!

I don't know about you guys but I'm in love with my Islo shoes! I normally  wear bracelets or a watch "armcandy" what everyone calls it. But today I chose something else. Everyone is wearing these festivaltattoos and I got some at Hema. I felt like I was 8 years old again when I tried them on but I'm in love with the result! I have 3 tattoos and I regret neither of them but if it was possible to get a silver or gold one, I wouldn't have any doubts about getting some more!

 

 

PS: Take a look at my shiny nails! Done by "Haar- en nagelstudio An" she's the only one I trust with my nails & my hair. Except for my extensions, she would pull them out if she would be given the chance.

Give me WINGS

Red Bull gives you wings. 

I think we all know the slogan from the famous energy drink. But actually, Red Bull made me quite nervous yesterday.

I'm not talking about the drink itself that was makin me nervous but there was a casting to join the Antwerp Wings team. I always wanted to be a part of that team. I'm such a big fan of the KTM Red Bull Factory Racing team & don't even start on the Red Bull X-fighters. Like seriously, It would be an honour to work for them! Just go to instagram type in #wingsteam & look at their awesome pictures. Who wouldn't want to work there?!

 

So I drove to Hemiksem to Butik Agency. While doing the interview, I learned a couple of things. I play hockey and I always drink water but apparently, Red Bull is great for sports because it gives you a boost and it doesn't make you thirsty for more. I'm definitely going to try it next practice. 

Now what to wear on a job interview? I'm not an expert on this case but because Red Bull is a young and dynamic enterprise, I chose for the sporty/chic look.

It was quite early when I left Butik Agency so what better way to end my day than with a real Red Bull face? So I went to the movies with one of my Dutch friends who is also a KTM Red Bull factory racing rider. Just to inform you, Pathé in Eindhoven litteraly has thé best popcorn!
