Turkey day 5

Hey Guys, 

I hope your day has been good so far. I'm already in bed so I'm gonna keep this post quite short. 

We're half in my 10 day summary of my holiday so here it goes for day 5: 

I told you before my nephew likes to stay in bed late and day 5 was no exception. It litteraly gets on my nerves when he's still in bed and I'm just sitting there. So I just sat down on our porch and made some selfies, you know how it goes. 

Don't ask me why but I always think I look better in a foreign country? Just because my skin looks so much better when the sun is shining. It might just be something in my head but anyway... Maybe it's because of the freckles. 

So when my nephew finally decided to get out of bed, we were already late for breakfast. Spaghetti bolognaise for breakfast it was... There are worse things in life you know. 

I spent the rest of the day on the beach. There was no wind so it wasn't cold at all. Got my music on, sunglasses on and thoughts were off. 

I don't know what it is with this place but the combination of palmtrees, the beach and the sea makes it a happy place for me. It's like I forgot what was happening in Belgium, I just focused on what was happening at that moment and enjoyed it all. How can you not with a view like this? 

We went to the steak restaurant to end our day. It was funny because I was wearing all white. Since I always spill something, either it's my drink or I drop a piece of food, I can't keep my clothes white. But I managed quite well! Everyone was going for a drink in the lobby afterwards but that's not my place to be so I went to bed, watched some tv and got some sleep. Ready for day 6...

Turkey day 4

Hello babes! 

I wish I could travel back in time and go back to last week! Seriously, all these pictures make me wander back to Turkey. 

So this is an overview of the fourth day that we spent there.

 

As many of you will know, I'm addicted to Calzedonia bikini's. I love them to death! The way they fit me is awesome! And I'm not even mentioning their support because I would give them a 12/10 for that ;). We got up quite late that day, didn't even take the time to have breakfast. 

 

I am absolutely, utterly in love with this Pouppée de Soie shirt! It's a bit longer on the back so it covers my big bum ;). And the wings, they take away the attention of everything! Also, it's light grey so it fits any of my jeans. Top buy, check! 

When we didn't have breakfast, we just started to drink earlier and it has become one of my bad habbits I guess. I got this new addiction for green apple martini's (for breakfast)... wuppppsss

I spent the rest of the day hangin' by the pool and at the beach, doing nothing, you know how it goes on these holidays right? 

 

 

Oh yeah and taking selfies too...

 

 

During the evening we went to the town again because the guys wanted to get their hair cut. We thought we could join them since we never mind to visit some stores near the barber. Let's just say it's a girl thing.

And to end the day, we had a nice dinner and went to the hotel's disco afterwards. Again, this was a good day.

Turkey day 3

Rise and shine my loves, 

It's so hard to post about my holiday in Turkey. When I see all these pictures I just want to drive to the airport and get on a plane. I've said it before and I'll say it again, my holiday was awesome and I'm not even talking about the weather now.

So about day 3, I had an all black kind of day, lovely! 

I had my doubts if I should bring my Isabel Marant's on holiday and to be honest, I'm glad I did because I wear them anytime I'm wearing black. They fit with skinny jeans, a dress, shorts, a skirt,... What I'm wearing here are shorts but they look a bit like a skirt. They are from Bershka, I was looking for a pleaded skirt but I couldn't find it but then I found these shorts and I was so happy. The top, I bought that a couple of years ago in Zara Budapest, it is actually waaayyyy too big but you don't really notice it, only if you pay attention. Glasses are from Sunglassspot, obviously and the hat is the one I bought at Iam at the airport. 

Okay, I had to take some pictures to make other people jealous right, well here we go: 

Like seriously, who wouldn't want to be in this place. The weather, the water, the food, I have no complaints at all!

 I'll show you my 2 favorite places of the hotel. 

This is the pier. You had 2 different ones, one where everyone could go and one which was +16. We always went to the regular one which was accessible for everyone. There's also a waiter who comes by every once in a while to ask what you want so you don't have to get up from your sunbed ;). When there was no wind, this was the place to be, but in the afternoon it could get a little bit chilly and that's when I found my second spot.

 

Everyone knows how much I love the beach! If you don't know that about me, you don't know me at all! I even have this tradition that no matter what happens, I need to see the beach on my birthday, yes 31 December! Not really a time to go to the beach but I made it a tradition so no way back. I just love to be on the beach because a lot of people were lying at the several pools and when I go on a holiday, I need my rest. It's at places like these where I think about everything that is happening in my life. It's my calm spot.

I'm not really a person that likes to go out a lot so on day 3 I went to bed early again.
